FTP Camera Tethering: The Ultimate Live Event Setup
S
SnapNest Team
Connect your camera via WiFi and auto-import photos to your gallery every 2 minutes.
FTP tethering transforms your camera into a live-streaming photo device. Photos are automatically imported into your event gallery as you shoot, giving guests access to images in near real-time.
Setup is straightforward:
- Enable WiFi on your camera and configure FTP settings
- Point your camera FTP to your SnapNest event endpoint
- Set the import interval (we recommend every 2 minutes)
- Start shooting — photos appear in the gallery automatically
This is perfect for conferences, galas, and any event where guests want to see photos before they leave the venue.
